Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
Hours are published for 1 day a week. On most of those days it is open 10 AMβ5 PM. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Fort Myers Beach is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Fort Myers Beach is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is the last remaining Seafood market formerly known as Trico. Hurricane Ian wiped out the old location. I visit this market as often as possible. Their Shrimp, Stone crab, Scallops, Blue Crab dip, Grouper, and Snapper is always fresh. Staff is consistent and friendly. Great seafood market. Check it out!

Our family relies on Big Daddyβs to fuel our family traditions! Every year multiple generations come to FMB to celebrate our Papaβs birthday with a shrimp and Alfredo meal always with big daddyβs shrimp! Never disappoints! Highly recommend!

I loved going to Trico's for over 30 years but unfortunately it was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. What a relief it was that Big Daddy's continued the tradition! Dana, Jayden and Nick are most helpful and very knowledgeable. It's easy to create a delicious gourmet seafood dinner, like shrimp with squid ink linguine and shrimp/spinach pasta, with freshest local shrimp anywhere. Big Daddy's also has a variety of other types of seafood readily available. Great market!!

This family-run seafood market has a warm entrepreneurial story behind its founders, who love the ocean and fresh ingredients and are committed to bringing the best quality seafood to every customer. Recommended: Pink shrimp: They come in four sizes, and I chose the smallest one that they can help make. It has a bit of heat after cooking and is very appetizing! Serve with cocktail sauce (wasabi, wine, ketchup, etc.) for extra freshness. .Rock Shrimp: It tastes like a crayfish and the skin is easy to peel, just remove the strings and seeds. It's the perfect snack for binge-watching! And it's affordable. Stone Crabs: This store has four sizes of stone crabs, I bought the largest, four stone crabs for $100. Recommend with stone crab sauce, although its sauce is very good, but I think the taste of stone crab itself is the purest, like the original friends will be more like. Oysters: Each bite is particularly delicious, silky and delicate, with no smell at all. If you like, you can also try it with cocktail sauce and wasabi sauce, or add some lemon. .Blue Crab Dip: Full of crab meat, super fresh! Whether eaten plain or with bread, bagels or sandwiches, it tastes great. .Smoke Salmon Dip
